The Parish of Bledlow with Saunderton and Horsenden

About Us

We are one parish with three fine old churches, serving our three villages of Bledlow, Saunderton and Horsenden in the beautiful Chiltern Hills. We are a broad parish church, here to serve the spiritual and pastoral needs of the whole community.

Every Sunday there are at least two services, one of which is Holy Communion. On the third Sunday of each month we have a Family Praise service which is designed for the whole family, but especially with the children in mind. On the first Sunday of the month the children and their parents have their own special service called Explorers. Please consult the parish diary page or the parish magazine The Messenger for details of services week by week.

Although our other services tend to be quite traditional we are not at all stuffy. We hope that the experience of worshipping with us will appeal to you, and that through Word and Sacrament we may all draw into ever closer relationship with the God who created us, loves us for who we are, and who wills us to grow more fully into the human beings he created us to be.

We have a wonderful choir, which is often asked to sing in cathedrals. The choir leads our singing once a month, and occasionally treats us to Choral Evensong or Matins. They are always with us at major festivals.

If you live in our area, or are just visiting, do come and worship with us and get to know us. You will be assured of a warm welcome, as well as coffee and biscuits after our 10.30 am service. Please see our diary for the times and locations of our services.
