The Parish of Bledlow with Saunderton and Horsenden

The Rev John Walton writes:
I've been ordained as a priest for just over a year, after making a rather late career change. Previously I was employed by a software company, working with people in various businesses to understand and improve their logistics and warehousing systems. I sort of fell into that having studied science at school.

I'm married, and live in Aylesbury with my wife Rosanna – we met just over 30 years ago while students, in York. Rosanna is a relationships counsellor, working for ‘Relate', seeing individuals, couples and families. She has also had a couple of career changes, starting out as an Occupational Therapist, and then having a spell as coffee shop manager at Holy Trinity Church in Aylesbury.

We have three dogs, who we enjoy walking together, and we both like cooking, especially for friends. I also enjoy singing and listening to music (Jazz, Folk and C16/17 choral music are my favourites). I get out on my bicycle when I have a chance.
